Foundations For Living

The Foundations for Living Class is a transformational entry level
class in the study of Science of Mind. The course is designed to
be a personal exploration of the Core Concepts of the Science of
Mind and their application to the daily process of living. Students
will have the opportunity to explore in their own lives the Universal
Principles that govern their experiences as well as deepen their
relationship to the Creative Power and Presence inherent in all life.
Meditation and Spiritual Mind Treatment are taught as daily practices. The class is experiential, with many guided meditations and exercises to assist students in embracing and incorporating the Principles.

This is a three-hour class and meets for 10 weeks. There is a six hour workshop, the date to be determined in class
Required for Practitioner Studies and is a Prerequisite all the Core classes.

Core Curriculum

Foundations for Living

The Foundations for Living Class is a transformational entry level class in the study of Science of Mind. Includes 1-day Power of Treatment workshop.

When: 3- hour class meets for 10 weeks and a 1 day workshop

Self-Mastery

The Self Mastery Class focuses on healing the perceived separation between personality and Spirit. Through active exploration of the creative nature of thoughts and feelings, beliefs and emotions, students have the opportunity to gain mastery in the art of living as a conscious, intentional being. It also includes a 60 day program in surrendering to High Self.

Spiritual Practices for Daily Living – Treatment and Meditation

This class focuses the student on creating lifetime habits of meditation and Spiritual Mind Treatment. During this class Spiritual Mind Treatment for others is taught as well as review and strengthening of the student’s knowledge of treating for him/herself. Many kinds of meditation practices are explored both individually and in powerful prayer groups.

Exploring the Roots of Science of Mind

This class provides the background and historical roots of Science of Mind and Ernest Holmes. Specific emphasis is given to the works of Judge Thomas Troward, Emma Curtis Hopkins and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Practitioner Studies – Year 1

The first year of professional practitioner studies focuses on:

1) deepening the students’ knowledge and understanding of the Science of Mind;

2) in depth work in deepening self understanding and the transition into the professional Consciousness;

3) moving from the role of student of Science of Mind into the role of professional in training.

Students study, read and write about the Science of Mind at a much deeper level of understanding. Students become aware of what needs to be cleared in their own consciousness as they begin to apply their spiritual understanding to all human conditions. Students are also introduced to and trained in Ministry of Prayer work which they will be capable of performing at the conclusion of this year of study. This course is recommended for anyone who wishes to continue to deepen their study and practice of Religious Science, whether or not the student wishes to continue on to become a licensed Religious Science Practitioner. Studies continue in Year 2.

Practitioner Studies – Year 2

The second year of Practitioner Studies is focused on training in one-on-one client work. Students learn the skills necessary for a Practitioner to be proficient in working professionally with a client. These include communication skills, telephone skills, and training in the ability to apply spiritual principles to human situations through Spiritual Mind Treatment in the practitioner-client relationship. Training is also provided in the special functions of the Practitioner, such as funeral/memorial services and Sunday platform duty. In addition, students learn the foundations of setting up a professional practice and continue to deepen Practitioner consciousness. Throughout the year, students investigate the areas of mysticism and expanded consciousness through the study of the teachings of Jesus and other mystics.

Radical Forgiveness

This experiential class, based on the book Radical Forgiveness by Colin Tipping, focuses on empowering students to release the past and awaken to their Spiritual Truth.

Visioning

The purpose of this course is to awaken to the transformational nature of Visioning, to learn the Visioning process, to understand the organic nature of manifestation and to be aware of its implementation
in our spiritual community.

Financial Freedom

The Intentions:

· To develop a greater awareness of God as the source of your Financial Freedom.
· To develop a greater understanding of the Principles of Financial Freedom.
· To develop a greater awareness of your current attitudes and beliefs about money.
· To develop new attitudes and beliefs about money that are in alignment with the Principles of Truth.
· To develop a form of spiritual practice that will duplicate the nature of Spirit in your financial affairs.
· To identify forms of Self-Expression that are in alignment with your Financial Freedom.
